This is a nifty small gadget. It is NOT A DOPPLER it does not use any kind of radio waves or something to pick up sound, as the machinery at the doctor's workplace does. The instruction manual plainly states that.
With that said, it is really enjoyable to use. It is a battery operated microphone, basically.
